Steps to Connect SendGrid to OttoMatey

From the available integrations, select SendGrid.

Enter your SendGrid email address and access token in the corresponding fields.

1. Log in to your OttoMatey account.
2. Navigate to the Mailboxes tab.
3. Click + Connect Mailbox to begin.
 
 
4. From the available integrations, select SendGrid.
 
 
5. Enter your SendGrid email address and access token in the corresponding fields.

Where to Find Your SendGrid Access Token

The access token is a unique key generated by SendGrid. If you don’t already have one or need to create a new token:

In the Connect SendGrid window, click the provided link (ensure you’re logged into SendGrid in the same browser).

You’ll be redirected to the API Keys page in your SendGrid account.

- Note: Previously created API keys cannot be viewed again.

To create a new key, click Create API Key in the top-right corner.

Fill in the required details, configure permissions, and click Create &amp; View.

A window will display your new API key. Save this token immediately—it won’t be accessible after closing the window.

Copy the API key and return to OttoMatey.

Paste the key into the SendGrid access token field and click Save.

Configuring SMTP and IMAP Settings

After entering your SendGrid credentials:

Use the login details for the mailbox connected to SendGrid (e.g., if SendGrid is linked to a Gmail account, enter your Gmail login credentials).

For SMTP/IMAP configurations, provide the credentials specific to your mailbox provider.

A green dot will appear next to your SendGrid mailbox in OttoMatey, confirming that the integration was successful.
