Managing Your Dialer Numbers and Tasks

Whether you're exploring new outreach strategies, targeting a different region, or simply looking for a fresh number, this guide will help you effectively manage your OttoMatey Dialer numbers and tasks.


Managing Your Dialer Numbers

  1. Access Your Dialer Settings

    • Click the Phone icon in the top-right corner of your dashboard.

    • Select the Gear icon next to "OttoMatey Dialer."

  2. Navigate to the Phone Numbers Tab
    In this section, you can:

    • View Number Status: Check the current status of your numbers.

    • Enable/Disable SMS: Toggle SMS functionality on or off.

    • Redirect Inbound Calls: Change the number where inbound calls are directed.

    • Delete Numbers: Click the red trash can icon to remove a number.

Note: Deleting a number will stop incoming messages/calls and prevent it from using your OttoMatey Credits.

  1. Add a Redirect Number

    • Click + Add Number.

    • Enter the desired redirect number and click Save.

Managing Call Recordings

  1. Access the Call Recordings Tab
    Here, you can:

    • Browse all your call recordings, including details such as:

      • Date and duration of the call.

      • Prospect’s name and associated campaign.

      • Both the dialer number and the prospect’s number.

    • Download recordings by clicking the Download button next to the Play button.

Tracking and Managing Your Calls

1. View Scheduled Tasks

  • Go to the Dashboard tab.

  • Select My Tasks to see all pending tasks.

  • To filter for call tasks, click the Filter icon and choose Make a Call under Task Type.

2. Complete Call Tasks

  1. Select a Task

    • Click on the specific call task you want to complete.

  2. Initiate the Call

    • Click Open Dialer to start the call if a number is associated with the contact.

  3. Add Call Notes

    • After the call, enter any relevant details in the Description box.

  4. Mark the Task Complete

    • Click Complete to move the task to your completed list.

  5. Pause the Campaign (Optional)

    • If the call was successful and you wish to stop the campaign for this prospect:

      • Scroll to Campaign Info on the contact card.

      • Click Pause Campaign.
