A successfully connected LinkedIn Account to OttoMatey SHOULD look like this:
Your LinkedIn Profile photo will appear in the OttoMatey Profile if your LinkedIn account is successfully connected.
If you're trying to connect your LinkedIn account to OttoMatey—and your LinkedIn profile photo isn’t appearing (like in the photo below), that is because you have entered the wrong password.
In most cases, people don’t remember their LinkedIn password because it's already saved on their device. Thanks to browser password managers and autofill features, we rarely type in our credentials anymore, so it’s easy to forget what they actually are.
If you're unsure about your LinkedIn password, don’t worry—there’s a quick way to check it. Here's a helpful video that walks you through the steps to find your saved password on your browser.
Now that you know your password, here’s how to update your OttoMatey account:
Login to your OttoMatey.
Go to the Settings tab;
Select Account Settings;
Scroll to the Password section;
Click Update Password.
A new prompt will appear where you will input the correct LinkedIn password associated with you LinkedIn account.
After updating your password, please wait a few minutes for OttoMatey to sync with your LinkedIn account. You’ll know the connection was successful when your LinkedIn profile picture appears in your OttoMatey profile.
