Ensure your campaign reaches the right target audience by selecting the appropriate search type. Let’s explore the different options available.
How to Add a Search
Go to Campaigns > Create New Campaign > Choose Campaign Type.
Click + Add Search.
Once you click + Add Search, you will be prompted to select a search type. Here’s a breakdown of each type and its functionality:
Search Types
Search URL: Use LinkedIn Sales Nav URL where parameters are already defined within the generated link.
Post URL: Enter a link to a specific LinkedIn post, and the search will target profiles who have liked the post.
Event: Provide a link to a LinkedIn event. This search type allows you to send messages without connection requests, so make sure to set Send Message as the first step in your campaign.
Group: Add a link to a LinkedIn group to interact with its members. This also allows message sending without connection requests. You can send up to 15 free 1-on-1 group messages each month. If you want to send more group messages, you’ll need to connect with the prospect first.
Navigator List URL: Paste a URL from a list search generated through your Sales Navigator subscription.
Recruiter Project URL: Use a link created with the LinkedIn Recruiter tool to search for candidates.
Recruiter Search: Unlike the Recruiter Project URL, this search generates a specific type of link—Talent/Search—which is tailored for a talent search.
CSV File: Upload a CSV file containing a list of prospects you want to target in your campaign.
Add with API: Integrate searches using an API connection for seamless addition of prospects.
Additional Options
For each search type, you can specify the maximum number of individuals to be included in the search.
