Accessing Webhook Settings

  1. Navigate to Webhook Settings:

    • Go to the Integrations tab in OttoMatey.

    • Locate the Webhook integration and click Connect.

  2. Explore Webhook Configuration Options:

    • Webhooks Tab: View and manage existing webhooks or create new ones.

    • Label Settings Tab: Toggle specific labels to trigger webhooks.

    • Base Settings Tab: Configure how prospect data is exported from OttoMatey.

  • Default: Displays only relevant information.

  • Default + Number: Adds an item number to the relevant information.

How to Connect Zapier to OttoMatey Using Webhooks

Step 1: Create a Zap in Zapier

  1. Log into your Zapier account and click + Create Zap.

  2. Choose a Trigger:

    • Search for Webhooks and select it.

  3. Set the Event:

    • Choose Catch Hook as the event and click Continue.

  4. Leave the Child Key field empty and click Continue again.

  5. Copy the Webhook URL provided by Zapier.

Step 2: Configure the Webhook in OttoMatey

  1. Go back to OttoMatey, navigate to the Integrations tab, and select Webhook.

  2. Click Manage, then Create New Webhook.

  3. Paste the copied Zapier Webhook URL into the Callback URL field.

5. Click Test to ensure the webhook is working.

  2. Click Continue with Selected Record.

  3. Choose the app to connect to (e.g., Google Sheets).

  4. Set the Action:

    • Select Create Spreadsheet Row.

    • Sign in to the app and click Continue.

  1. Select the following options:

    • Drive: The Google Drive containing your spreadsheet.

    • Spreadsheet: The specific spreadsheet to update.

    • Worksheet: The worksheet within the spreadsheet.

  2. Match your OttoMatey fields to the headers in your spreadsheet. Ensure headers are pre-set in the spreadsheet (e.g., Name, Email, Phone).

  3. Click Continue, test the step, and click Publish to activate your Zap.

Step 5: Test the Integration

  • Go back to OttoMatey, mark the desired prospects as Leads, and watch them appear in your spreadsheet within minutes.
