How Deduplication Works
When the Deduplicate New Profiles Within Workspace setting is enabled:
A prospect added to a campaign by one account cannot be added to campaigns by other accounts in the same workspace.
This prevents duplicate outreach, ensuring streamlined and efficient targeting across campaigns.
However, deduplication interacts with blacklist settings, which should be understood for optimal use.
Blacklist Settings for Each LinkedIn Account
Each LinkedIn Account in a workspace has its own separate blacklist.
Using the Exclude from Campaigns option (via the Inbox or Prospects tab) excludes the selected prospect from all campaigns linked to that specific Social Account.
This action is effectively the same as adding the prospect to the LinkedIn Account's blacklist.
Important Note: There is no universal blacklist for the entire workspace. To exclude a prospect across all Social Accounts, you need to manually add them to each Social Account's blacklist.
Interaction Between Deduplication and Blacklist
When Deduplication is enabled:
The setting applies across the entire workspace, considering all profiles, including those blacklisted by any LinkedIn Account.
If a prospect is blacklisted by one LinkedIn Account, deduplication prevents them from being added to campaigns by any other LinkedIn Account within the workspace.
This ensures a unified and consistent approach to managing prospect outreach.
How to Enable Deduplication
Access Workspace Settings:
Navigate to your Workspace Settings.
Enable Deduplication:
Under Basic Information, locate the Deduplicate New Profiles Within Workspace setting.
Toggle the setting on.
Save Changes:
Click Save Changes to apply the update.
